AGL Aviation Services is Dynon Authorized, installing and servicing Dynon avionics at Gastonia Municipal Airport (KAKH), near Charlotte. Whether you fly a certified airplane or an experimental, we can help you plan a Dynon panel that fits your mission and budget, and then install it in Hangar 3-98.

Certified aircraft

Dynon's certified product line brings SkyView HDX glass and Dynon autopilots to many type-certificated airplanes through Dynon's STCs. Eligibility depends on your make, model and existing equipment, so the first step is checking your aircraft against Dynon's approved model list. We work on Piper, Mooney, Cessna, Maule, CubCrafters and Socata TB aircraft.

Experimental and light sport

For experimental and light sport aircraft, Dynon's SkyView systems and autopilots offer more configuration options. We can install, update and troubleshoot those systems too.

Autopilots

A Dynon autopilot is one of the most popular single upgrades we see. It's often paired with SkyView HDX, and sometimes added to an existing Dynon installation. Servos, the control panel and the configuration are set up and tested for your airframe.

Panel work

Instrument panels are built in-house and with partners. A Dynon project often goes well with other upgrades: an EI engine monitor if the plan keeps separate engine instruments, SureFly electronic ignition, or ADS-B and other avionics from uAvionix, Stratus or Garmin (G5, GI 275 and transponders).

Mooney owners

As an Authorized Mooney Service Center, we can combine a Dynon project with your Mooney annual where your model is eligible.

Call 828-391-8645 (Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–4:30 PM) or send us your aircraft details: make, model, serial number, current panel, and what you want the new panel to do. We'll check eligibility and talk through options before any work is scheduled.

Pitot-static leak checks after panel work are done in the hangar. IFR certifications are coordinated through a certificated repair station.
